The Company is committed to creating the safest possible working conditions for its employees by strictly complying with the requirements pertaining to industrial safety. The Company constantly monitors the working conditions, workstations have been certified for meeting the requirements towards working conditions, medical and physical tests are being conducted regularly to monitor the employees' health. The staff anti-accident insurance program is being implemented.

The Gazpromneft Marine Bunker business-process organization is based upon the Company's policy for operational security, industrial and environmental safety.

The Company's commitments include the continuous improvement of working conditions, the industrial and environmental safety, the implementation and further improvement of an effective management system, the development of information exchange with the parties concerned, increasing the competence of the staff and their involvement in the implementation of the policy, applying the same safety requirements to both the staff and contractors of the Company.

In 2011, Gazpromneft Marine Bunker's subsidiary Gazpromneft Shipping, which conducts the operational management of the bunkering fleet, was awarded certificates of the compliance of its industrial, occupational and environmental safety management system with the ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:2007 international standards.

The Company carries out annual activities to maintain its readiness for preventing, localising and eliminating critical and emergency situations and responding to them in accordance with legislation of the Russian Federation.
